Aims, contents and method of the course

Arbeitsunterlagen sind unmittelbar aus der Praxis kommende Texte (Reden, Referate, Vorträge, Live-Diskussionen, Interviews etc.). Teilweise Originalaufnahmen, teilweise nachgesprochen.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Die Studierenden sollen die Kompetenz des Simultandolmetschens in einer simulierten Realsituation erwerben (selbständiges Dolmetschen eines gesprochenen Textes von ca. 20 Minuten).

Examination topics

Vor der Dolmetschung werden Terminologie, Texttypus, Situation besprochen. Praktische Hinweise für die Dolmetscharbeit werden gegeben. Es wird in beide Richtungen gedolmetscht, da dies der Praxis entspricht. Darüber hinaus werden Übungen in Flüstertechnik und in Vom-Blatt-Dolmetschen angeboten.
