other tasks, participation in class: 40%Please note that with the group project, both collective and individual performance will be evaluated.In this course, the students' performance will be continuously assessed. Attendance is therefore mandatory. Up to two absences will be tolerated. It is the students' responsibility to catch up on missed work, instructions or other input in a timely manner. If you are late in submitting your work, you may still hand it in, but you will be downgraded.cut-off is 60%90-100: very good or 1
80-89: good or 2
70-79: average or 3
60-69: low pass or 4
below 60 is a fail or 5

Students are able to apply their knowledge in the areas of professional communication, terminology studies and information and interface design (module 7) to authentic tasks in their working languages. They are also able to recognise technical language, and are familiar with the text type conventions of selected text types important for communication in technical language in their working languages. In addition, they are able to understand, analyse and produce technical texts in their working languages. They are further able to perform terminology management, and establish glossaries and term bases in their working languages.
