Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
A series of topics dealing with issues in contemporary research on written translation. These may include work on cognitive processes, risk management, the economics of translation, deconstruction (indeterminism) and ethics.
Assessment and permitted materials
MC-Test: MC-Fragen auf Englisch + 1 offene Frage auf Deutsch, Englisch, Spanisch, Italienisch, Katalanisch oder Portugiesisch zu beantworten.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
To make the student aware of the main issues in contemporary translator ethics, particularly with respect to the indeterminism of translation processes and the need for a hermeneutic component in empirical research.

Public lecture plus in-class practical applications (students are
