Assessment and permitted materials
Continuous assessment of course work. Interpretations in class will be graded.Your grade is determined by the grades you receive for your interpretations in class (grades 1 to 5), participation in class (participation in discussions, speeches, feedback) and homework. If necessary, up to two interpreting grades may be acquired via assessments of interpreting performance (where all students interpret the same source text and record their interpretation).

The level of this class is intended for students who have successfully mastered the contents of Consecutive Interpreting I. It is recommended that students complete the exercises Note-Taking Technique and Consecutive Interpreting I successfully before attending this class.Methods: Research and terminology work at home, holding and interpreting speeches, sight translation, peer feedback, critical reflection on your own work, practicing outside class, feedback on and grading of interpretations by the lecturers.Aims: Improving your interpreting technique and presentation, developing your note-taking technique, expanding your vocabulary in your source and target languages, acquiring knowledge about the topics discussed.
