Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The lecture will focus on a detailed discussion of selected chapters of English grammat (adjective, adverb). Students attending will be expected to have a good working knowledge of basic English grammar and vocabulary
Assessment and permitted materials
Grading will be based on the results of a written final test
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Acquisition of a higher degree of proficiency in the use of grammatically correct English. Particular emphasis on raising students' awareness of the differences between formal and colloquial/informal English
Examination topics
The lecture will be in English, concentrating on practical aspects, with numerous examples from both formal and informal language. In spite of the lecture character of the course students will be expected to ask questions which will be discussed by the teacher with the help of the rest of the class
