Aims, contents and method of the course

Tense Review, Conditionals, Affixes, Modals, Phrasal verbs,Gerunds & Infinitives, Linking Words, Punctuation, Adjectives and Adverbs, Reported Speech, Relative Clauses, The Passive

Assessment and permitted materials

Attendance: Students should attend at least 10 of the 12 lectures.

If you do not attend the first lecture, you will be de-registered from the course and your place will be given to the next person on the waiting list.

If you cannot attend a lecture for any reason, please inform me by email.

Assessment: There will be a mid-semester test in the sixth week and a final test in the twelfth week of the course.

60% 4
59% 5 (fail)

The tests will only cover grammar aspects already covered in the class.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Improvement of skills needed to interpret and produce grammatically correct texts in English.
