Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Improvement of skills needed to interpret and produce grammatically correct texts in English.
Exercises in class and on Moodle.
Topics may include: tense review, conditionals, affixes, gerunds & infinitives, modal verbs, reported speech, relative clauses, the passive; students will have the opportunity to suggest additional topics.
The language of instruction is English.

Assessment and permitted materials

Mid-semester test (40%), end-of-term test (40%), two mini tests (10% each).

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Students must attend at least 11 of the 13 lessons.
