Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Introduction to selected topics in the history and the political, cultural and social life in the US and the UK. The aim is for students to gain an understanding of some key terms and debates in the field. Lecture in English.

Assessment and permitted materials

Exam for Module 1 students: multiple-choice exam (in German) as part of Module 1 Steop exam; OR exam for Module 3 students: written exam (in English) at the end of the semester. No aids are permitted in these exams.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Pass grade for M1 exam: total M1 score of 60%; pass grade for M3 exam: 60%.
