Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Introductory lecture course on selected topics from the history and political, cultural and social life in the US and the UK; the aim of this course is to give a general understanding of some key terms and debates in the field.

Assessment and permitted materials

Exam for Module 2 students (BA 2016): multiple-choice exam as part of Steop. Exam for Module 3 students (BA 2011) and exchange students/students from other departments: written exam at the end of the semester. No aids are permitted in these exams.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Pass grade for M2 Steop exam: total M2 score of 50%. Pass grade for M3 exam/exam for exchange students/students from other departments : 60%.
