Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Introductory lecture course on selected topics from the history and political, cultural and social life in the UK, the US and the Commonwealth; the aim of this course is to give a general understanding of some key terms and debates in the field.
Assessment and permitted materials
Exam for Module 2 students (BA 2016): multiple-choice exam as part of Steop. Exam for Module 3 students (BA 2011) and exchange students/students from other departments: written exam at the end of the semester. No aids are permitted in these exams
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Pass grade for M2 Steop exam: total M2 score of 50%. Pass grade for M3 exam/exam for exchange students/students from other departments : 60%.
