Attendance and participation (students are allowed to be absent max. 2 times per semester)
Working on vocabulary (will be encouraged by testing)
Interpreting during the class, including feedback for peers
Creating an "interpreting diary" at the end of the semester (written reflection on selected own, partly transcribed interpreting performances).The grade is made up of the following components:
Transcribed interpreting recordings (min. 5): 70 %
Homework and active participation in the units: 30%.
For a positive semester grade, more than half of the performances must be positively evaluated.
