Aims, contents and method of the course
This introduction to translation course will focus on translation into English. Class work and discussion will cover translation techniques and approaches, and improving English writing skills.
Assessment and permitted materials
Regular attendance and class participation (max. 2 absences)
2 Tests (40% each)
1 Assignment (10%)

No electronic devices may be used during the tests. Glossaries and dictionaries are permitted.
NEW CRITERIA DUE TO CORONA CRISIS: Tests (a translation) will be done online within a given window of time. Some questions may be taken from the online lectures; if so, advance information will be provided.
