Assessment and permitted materials
Continuous assessment of course work. Attendance is mandatory; students may miss no more than one class (=2x45 minutes).
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Active participation in class (interpreting, note-taking exercises, presentations, analysis, discussion) 40%
Home assignments (presentations, (text) analysis, note-taking exercises, interpreting) 40%
Interpretation and peer feedback in last class 20%A minimum of 60% is required for a passing grade.Grading scale: ≥90% = 1, ≥80% = 2, ≥70% = 3, ≥60% = 4, <60% = 5 (fail)

The theoretical principles will be implemented with analysis, note-taking, and intra- and interlingual interpreting exercises. Feedback from the instructor will be complemented by students‘ reflections on their own performance and peer feedback.
It is recommended students take the course "Basic Competence Translation B Interpreting" before taking this course.
