Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Students will learn rules-based memorisation strategies and note-taking principles for the development of a note-taking system consisting of language-independent and language-dependent notes.
The theoretical principles will be implemented with analysis, note-taking, and intra- and interlingual interpreting exercises. Feedback from the instructor will be complemented by students‘ reflections on their own performance and peer feedback.
It is recommended students take the course "Basic Competence Translation B Interpreting" before taking this course.
