The lectures should help to refine the perception of cultural contexts and help to understand cultural presuppositions
We are going to work bottom up with text examples (literature, arts, journalism, everyday life) in order to show how cultural contexts come to manifestation in text and discourse and how various persepectives may influence the interpretation of occurences and correlations.
