Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

This course contains two modules: Video Game Localisation and Audio Description.

Please note that this course will be taught primarily in English with some teaching materials available in German.

Assessment and permitted materials

The final assessment will consist of three parts: homework 35%, performance in class 25% and final exam 40%.
Performance in class refers to student participation in discussions and group work.
The final exam will take place in the last week of the semester.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

This course aims to provide students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills on the localisation of video games and the application of audio description.

Examination topics

Literature on the two topics will be explained and discussed. Meanwhile, in-class group work and after-class assignments will be provided for the students to obtain practical skills.
