Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Übersetzung japanischer Fach- und Sachtexte aus dem Bereich Wirtschaft ins Deutsche und umgekehrt. Übersetzt werden u.a. Geschäftskorrespondenzen, Artikel in Printmedien und Fachberichte. Auch kulturspezifische Gepflogenheiten im japanischen Geschäftsleben werden diskutiert und entsprechende Übungen angeboten.
Auf Grund der von den Studierenden vorbereiteten Texte werden translatorische Handlungsstrategien, u.a. Recherchemöglichkeiten, Arbeit mit Wörterbüchern, Parallelliteratur und Umgang mit Übersetzungsaufträgen besprochen.

Assessment and permitted materials

Aktive Mitarbeit im Online-Kurs, Hausübungen, zwei digitale schriftliche Prüfungen. Bei den Tests dürfen alle verfügbaren Hilfsmittel verwendet werden (Open-Book-Format).

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Zur positiven Absolvierung der Lehrveranstaltung müssen 60% aller Teilleistungen positiv erfüllt sein.
