Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Übersetzen von Sachtexten EN->DE und DE->EN: Textanalyse (Reflektieren von Textsortenkonventionen, Recherche von Terminologie, kultureller Transfer, Klärung von Fragen mit AuftraggeberInnen etc.), Übertragung (je nach Zweck, Zielgruppe etc.), Reflektieren des Arbeitsprozesses. Themen: hs. Kultur, Gesellschaft, Bildung, Kunst.
Assessment and permitted materials
Prüfungsimmanente LV: aktive Mitarbeit und durchgehende Präsenz erforderlich, Übersetzungen individuell und in Gruppen im Unterricht und als wöchentliche Hausübung, Semesterprüfung.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Die Studierenden sollen den auftragsbezogenen translatorischen Umgang mit Texten erlernen: Verständnis des Ausgangstexts in seinem Kontext, Erkennen und Durchführen der erforderlichen Rechercheaufgaben (Klärung von Fragen, Terminologie, Kontext usw.), professionelle Vorgangsweise (z.B. Umgang mit AuftraggeberInnen, KollegInnen, Arbeitsmethodik).
Examination topics
Vorbereitung vor dem Unterricht, Vorbesprechung und Bearbeitung individuell oder in Gruppen im Unterricht, Erstellung der Übersetzungen in Form von schriftlichen Einzel- und Gruppenarbeiten (kooperatives Übersetzen) als wöchentliche Hausübung, Nachbesprechung im Unterricht.
