Aims, contents and method of the course

In-depth look at the tenses in English, use of infinitive vs. -ing form, modal verbs, reported speech, conditionals, relative clauses, passive, phrasal verbs.
The language of instruction is English.

Assessment and permitted materials

Contributions in class and as homework, 2 exams.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

This course aims to improve students' understanding of grammar and practical application.

Examination topics

Written and oral exercises. Students are required to print the exercise sheets for the next week at home and at times complete them as homework.
