Aims, contents and method of the course
Zusammenhang und Wechselwirkungen zwischen den Begriffen Kultur und Kommunikation. Reflexion von kulturellen Kontexten: wir analysieren u.a. die Frage: wie schlagen sich kulturelle Kontexte in (konkreten) Texten nieder und welche Perspektiven und Phänomene beeinflussen ihre Interpretation.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Vertiefung und Vervollkommnung der Kulturkompetenz, Entwicklung eines bewussten und professionellen Umgangs mit kulturellen Kontexten im Hinblick auf translatorisches Handeln.
Examination topics
Ausgehend von kultur- und translationswissenschaftlichen Ansätzen werden an unterschiedlichen Textbeispielen aus Literatur, Kunst, Film, Geschichte, Politik und Alltag verschiedene (historische) Ereignisse und Phänomene in ihrem kulturellen Kontext analysiert und diskutiert.
