Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
We will focus on various types of texts and communicating these orally. In other words: students will become familiar with different types of written texts and how to communicate these effectively.
Assessment and permitted materials
Your work will be graded as follows:
participation including presentations: 30%
midterm: 25%
final: 25%
assignments: 20%

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
B2 Level of English required.
Students must complete assignments.
Attendance is mandatory -- two absences are allowed.
Final grades will follow the below percentage schedule:
90-100: very good or 1
80-89: good or 2
70-79: average or 3
60-69: passing or 4
below 60 is fail or 5
