Aims, contents and method of the course

GOALS:
- reflecting on the professional role of interpreters and translators in the society
- discuss how to make decisions based on professional ethics
- critical discussion of professional ethcis
- preparing for working as a professional translator/interpreter

CONTENT:
- discussing relevant literature in the group

Assessment and permitted materials

Active participation; short presentations (if required); written final exam.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Attending the course and active participation: 60%
Final written exam: 40%
