Aims, contents and method of the course
Comprehension, discussion, paraphrasing and presentation of oral, but also written texts.
Assessment and permitted materials
Class participation, Presentations in groups and individually, portfolio
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Students ought to be able to understand texts taken from various different areas and using different registers. The should improve their presentation skills and produce varied texts according to the tasks set by the teacher.
Examination topics
Written or oral source texts will be worked on according to specific tasks set by the teacher. Those tasks can be: paraphraze, translate, summarize, discuss in a role play, hold an interview or a group or an individual presentation. Tasks are set on the Moodle-Platform and are prepared at home.
