Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Die Studierenden entwickeln in dieser Lehrveranstaltung ihre eigene Stimme in Englisch als Lingua Franca in der Face-to-face-Kommunikation. Sie entwickeln ein Bewusstsein für Englisch als „Weltsprache“ und die daraus entstehenden linguistischen und soziopolitischen Gegebenheiten. Sie reflektieren ihr kommunikatives Verhalten und entwickeln Kommunikationsstrategien für einen respektvollen und inklusiven kommunikativen Umgang in internationalen und/oder translingualen Kommunikationssituationen. Die Aktivitäten in der Übung umfassen Diskussionen, Präsentationen, Gruppenaktivitäten und Fachlektüre.
Die Unterrichtssprache ist Englisch.

Assessment and permitted materials

Mitarbeit in der Lehrveranstaltung, sowie weitere mündliche und schriftliche Leistungen in Gruppen- und Einzelarbeit.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Durchgehende, aktive Diskussionsteilnahme in der Lehrveranstaltung und konstante Mitarbeit sind Mindestanforderungen für eine positive Beurteilung.

Examination topics

Alle in der Lehrveranstaltung besprochenen Inhalte sowie die in der Lehrveranstaltung besprochene Literatur.

Reading list

Wird in der Lehrveranstaltung bekannt gegeben und den Teilnehmenden über Moodle zur Verfügung gestellt.
