Goals:
- Understanding that the self-perception and the hetero-perception of a culture are built in a discursive way.
- Development of the understanding of the variety and heterogeneity of the narratives of Portuguese culture with regard to the Metropolis vs Colonies and Portugal vs PALOP dynamics.
- Critical reflection on the construction of the Portuguese image, identity and culture in correlation with that of the Portuguese-speaking African countries.

Content:
- Based on a dynamic-scientific concept of culture (in which "culture" consists of a discursive process in continuous movement), we will identify how it has evolved over the last century in the Portuguese reality and how it has changed in the face of political changes.
- Presentation of the Lusophone world, with special emphasis on the dynamics between Portugal and the Portuguese-speaking African countries (Angola, Cape Verde, Guinea Bissau, Mozambique and São Tomé and Príncipe).
- Topics: colonialism, post-colonialism, racism.

Methods:
- Analysis and reflection on colonialist and post-colonialist discourse.
- Reading, analysis, commentary and discussion based on texts of various types and origins from the 20th and 21st centuries.

Ziele:
- Verstehen, dass die Selbst- und Fremdwahrnehmung einer Kultur diskursiv aufgebaut ist.
- Entwicklung des Verständnisses für die Vielfalt und Heterogenität der Narrative der portugiesischen Kultur in Bezug auf die Dynamik Metropole vs. Kolonien und Portugal vs. PALOP.
- Kritische Reflexion über die Konstruktion des portugiesischen Images, der portugiesischen Identität und der portugiesischen Kultur im Verhältnis zu den portugiesischsprachigen Ländern Afrikas.

Inhalt:
- Auf der Grundlage eines dynamisch-wissenschaftlichen Konzepts von Kultur (in dem "Kultur" ein diskursiver Prozess in ständiger Bewegung ist) werden wir herausfinden, wie sie sich im letzten Jahrhundert in der portugiesischen Realität entwickelt hat und wie sie sich angesichts der politischen Veränderungen verändert hat.
- Vorstellung der lusophonen Welt, mit besonderem Schwerpunkt auf der Dynamik zwischen Portugal und den portugiesischsprachigen Ländern Afrikas (Angola, Kap Verde, Guinea Bissau, Mosambik und São Tomé und Príncipe).
- Themen: Kolonialismus, Postkolonialismus, Rassismus.

Methode:
- Analyse und Reflexion des kolonialistischen und postkolonialistischen Diskurses.
- Lektüre, Analyse, Kommentar und Diskussion anhand von Texten unterschiedlicher Art und Herkunft aus dem 20. und 21.
