Aims, contents and method of the course
Listening comprehension, writing skills and discussion competence
Assessment and permitted materials
Participation, homework and a final exam conducted at the end of the semester make up the final grade.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Improvement of students' comprehension of spoken English, improvement of writing skills (style, expression)
Examination topics
Recordings presented in class serve as the basis for discussion, group activities and written homework. Materials used in class will be made available to students through the Moodle platform. Emphasis will be on American English, but not exclusively. Students will be expected to contribute actively in class and hand in written homework. Language of instruction is English.
