Aims, contents and method of the course

Introductory overview of the evolution of interpreting studies and its models, methods and paradigms.

Assessment and permitted materials

Written final exam.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Students will acquire basic knowledge in the area of interpreting studies which will serve as an underpinning to their professional MA studies and in particular to the successful completion of an MA thesis project.

Examination topics

Lecture with opportunity for questions and discussion, supported by visual media such as PowerPoint slides and video.
