Aims, contents and method of the course
Overview of the evolution, basic concepts and theories of interpreting studies as well as selected topics of research.
Assessment and permitted materials
Written exam at the end of the semester.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Students will acquire a solid understanding of the development of the discipline and the theoretical foundations of interpreting studies as well as knowledge of the state of the art regarding selected topics of research.
Examination topics
Lecture supported by presentation slides (PowerPoint) with opportunity for questions and discussion.
