Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Einführung sowie Entwicklung verschiedener Arbeitstechniken als vorbereitende Übung für die Übersetzung von Texten aus den unterschiedlichsten Themenbereichen.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Erwerb von transkultureller Textkompetenz und translatorischen Basiskompetenz.
Examination topics
Kontrastive Textarbeit und -produktion. Analyse der Texte in der Ausgangssprache und Produktion verschiedener Textsorten und -stile in der Zielsprache. Erarbeiten von Techniken zum Sprachverständnis der Ausgangssprache und Reproduktion der kommunizierten Inhalte in der Zielsprache. Erweiterung der Sprachkompetenz in der Ausgangs-und Zielsprache mittels gezielter Texttransformationen im Bereich des Sprachstils (Idiomatik, Sprachregister, etc...).
