Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Based on the fundamental knowledge of note taking students will practice, using speeches from the domains economy, politics culture ecc., the characteristics of German-Italian consecutive interpreting and vice-versa.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

The students are supposed to acquire basic knowledge in German/Italian and Italian/German consecutive interpreting and a overview of practical note taking, rhetoric and interpreting technique.

Examination topics

Starting from simple spoken texts, students will practice during the academic year (beginners should start in the WS) up to live-simulation played back from MP 3 and video.
