Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Based on the fundamental knowledge of note taking students will practice, using speeches from the domains economy, politics culture ecc., the characteristics of German-Italian consecutive interpreting and vice-versa.

Assessment and permitted materials

Permanent control, feed-back, terminological preparation work, transcriptions. Deregistration is possible until the 31st of March 2018.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Students are supposed to acquire knowledge in German/Italian and Italian/German consecutive interpreting and to get an overview of practical note taking, rhetoric and interpreting technique within different application fields of the two languages.

Examination topics

Starting from simple spoken texts, students will practice during the academic year up to live-simulation played back from MP 3 and video.
Some course units will be dedicated to preparation work to the Modulprüfung. Transcriptionwork will support the continuos feedback.

Students should also work on theMoodle-platform (application, papers and general information ecc.).
