Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The propaedeutics of Italian-German translation are explained on the basis of simple Italian texts (publicities, articles, papers, guides, ecc.). The course will prepare for the PIK-exam (curriculum 2007).

Permanent control, class-room work, platform homeworks

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

The objective of the course is to improve text-competences and to learn translation strategies depending on the specific text typology and the commission.

Examination topics

The course gives an introduction to comparative and cultural analysis of Italian texts and to various text typologies. At the same time it will give students the opportunity to simulate Bakk.-exams (on-line) and PIK-exams.
Students should work also on the e-platform (application, papers, on-line work and general information ecc.).
