Aims, contents and method of the course

Introduction to epistemological and methodological foundations of translation and interpreting research with a view to the completion of an MA thesis in translation and interpreting studies; lecture with visual support (PowerPoint) and opportunity for questions and discussion.

Written end-of-term exam

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

A total of 6 points can be achieved for the answers to the questions in the written exam. At least 3 points are required for a passing grade.

Examination topics

As presented in the lectures and in discussion, complemented by readings indicated in class.
