Aims, contents and method of the course

Die Übung vermittelt sprachübergreifende mündliche und schriftliche translatorische Basiskompetenzen. Sie dient dazu, praxisnahe Textsorten unter Berücksichtigung des Translationszwecks analytisch und unter Anwendung der gelernten Methoden zu bearbeiten, translatorische Schwierigkeiten zu erkennen, zu benennen und Strategien zu deren Lösung einzusetzen.
Die erlernten Methoden werden anhand praktischer Beispiele in ihren Arbeitssprachen angewendet.. Diese Konzepte und Methoden umfassen die Arbeitsschritte professioneller transkultureller Kommunikation, vor allem die translationsrelevante Text-und Kommunikationsanalyse sowie Transferstrategien und Argumentationskompetenzen.
. Inhalte:•Konkrete Übersetzungsaufträge formulieren /•Erarbeitung von Strategien für die Umsetzung/ praxisorientierte Problemlösungen

Wir übersetzen und besprechen in dieser übung tatsächliche Aufträge aus der Praxis. Es ist auch der Besuch einer Kollegin geplant, die sich als Übersetzerin selbstständig gemacht hat. Außerdem wird auch eine Mitarbeiterin eines Unternehmens bei uns zu Besuch sein und unsere Übersetzungen bewerten.
