Aims, contents and method of the course
Exploring texts written in several types of English.
Assessment and permitted materials
Participation in class, individual and group assignments, mid-term test, end-of-term test.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
To increase students' reading-comprehension skills in English and show them ways to improve them.
Examination topics
Class assignments, to be completed in groups or individually, will include exercises to test comprehension, research assignments aimed at achieving a more profound level of comprehension, analyses of a variety of texts and short text production assignments.
