Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The goal of this course is to provide an overview of the main areas in which translators and interpreters work and to discuss conditions of work, basic requirements and ethic questions concerning the profession.
Relevant professional fields: conference interpreting, community interpreting, specialized translation, translation of literature
Furthermore, students will deal with relevant theoretical background.
Method: lecture, including practice-oriented and theoretical input
