Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The course requires active participation, i.e. the students will have to complete, both in class and at home, a number of written assignments in Spanish.
Assessment and permitted materials
Immanent course grading: grade based on the semester performance. Regular attendance is prerequisite for assessing the student’s performance. Continuous active in-class participation and written exams during the semester.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Target group/requirements: students with a good knowledge of Spanish. We will work with various genres of text (bulletins, reportage, interviews, news announcements) from politics, science, the arts, and other topical subjects.
Examination topics
Based on their work with audio material the students will get used to the different variants of the Spanish language. They achieve the competence to understand complex texts and, upon instruction, to reproduce their content subsequently in written Spanish.
Reading list
Will be announced in the course and on the e-learning platform at the beginning of the semester.
