Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Students acquire basic knowledge about the theory of science and gain insights into the process and methods of scientific research. They become acquainted with the main steps involved in academic writing (topic, research question, methods) and learn to process scientific literature and adhere to the formal guidelines in effect at the Center for Translation Studies.
Assessment and permitted materials
Multiple-choice exam as part of the StEOP examination module.
Students who do not take the exam as part of the StEOP (e.g. exchange students) must notify the course leader by email.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
At least 50% in the StEOP multiple-choice exam (held on site).
