Aims, contents and method of the course

Various forms and streams of transcultural communication within the framework of (economic) globalization; focus on international marketing as a field providing many employment opportunities for communication experts such as translators; lecture supported by “real-life” case studies.

Written end-of-semester exam

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

To familiarize students with the processes of transcultural business communication; to provide an overview of real world requirements and the expectations of potential future employers and clients.

Lecture; discussion of case studies.
