Aims, contents and method of the course

Various forms and streams of transcultural communication within the framework of (economic) globalization; focus on marketing and business communication as a fields providing many employment opportunities for communication experts such as translators; lecture supported by “real-life” case studies.

Assessment and permitted materials

Written end-of-semester exam.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

To familiarize students with the processes of transcultural business communication; to provide an overview of real world requirements and the expectations of potential future employers and clients.

Examination topics

Lecture; discussion of case studies.
