Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
This class will focus on 17th century England. Students will be confronted with early modern texts and subjects they are not familiar with in order to expand their vocabulary, train their investigative skills, present complex issues in appropriate language, and gain insights into a period of crucial importance for Europe generally and the English language in particular.
Assessment and permitted materials
The quality of the work submitted / presented and contributions in class.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Improve your active oral English and train expressing complex issues coherently and by using the appropriate terminology and register.
Examination topics
Students will do independent research on two topics and present the results in class where they will be discussed jointly.
