Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

This class is open to all students in the Master's programme, regardless of their language combination. The class will be held in English.
Aims: Creating awareness for complexities of English as a lingua franca; emphasis on communicative efficiency rahter than grammatical correctness. Getting familiar with different varieties of English in written and face-to-face communication.; discussion of the intercultural dimension of global English and its implications for individual and collective attitudes to communicative efficiency. working on presentation skills for international audiences
