Aims, contents and method of the course
Assessment and permitted materials
The course is exam-based. All oral and written work in class, homework and platform work are included in the assessment.
Attendance is compulsory.
The use of AI is permitted for preparation.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
To participate in the course, it is sufficient to study either French or Russian regularly.
After completing the course, students should be able to:
prepare for a topic and carry out the necessary research;
analyse the roles and communication relationships in a dialogue-based communication situation and develop and apply the appropriate interpreting strategies;
interpret a dialogue in an appropriate manner, with correct content and terminology
reflect critically on and evaluate their own and other people's interpreting performance
be able to interpret from sight
The work done in the current semester will be graded according to the following key:
30% lectures, active participation, role plays
60% interpreting performance
10% creation of glossaries and conversation guides

Independent preparation of various dialogue interpreting settings (individual and/or team work); glossaries and research documents; written and/or oral analysis of own and/or third-party interpreting performance
