The main objective of the course consists in presenting the relationship between different models in Translation Studies and practical analytical work, ie the relationship between theory and application, between theory and the aimed knowledge, especially through the perspective of translators.

The seminar is based on the idea of "Humanizing Translation" and deals with the role and achievements of translators. The specific focus of the seminar in SoSem 2019 will be on the age of discoveries.
