Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Translation of various functional texts (easy technical texts, contracts, ecc.), increasing difficulty from the WS to the SS. The translation will be made mainly from German into Italian.

Assessment and permitted materials

permanent control, homework, intermediate test

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

The objective of the course is to find an adequate translation strategy by identifying the translation problems in order to generate an optimal translation.

Examination topics

The comparative and cultural analysis of the selected texts will lead to an optimal translation strategy. The ability to identifiy the type of specific text will be improved.
Students should work also on the e-platform (application, papers and general information ecc.).
