Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Translation of various functional texts (easy technical texts, contracts, ecc.) - the translation will be made from German into Italian and vice versa. There will be one section dedicated to literature translation.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
The objective of the course is to find an adequate translation strategy by identifying the translation problems in order to generate an optimal translation.
Examination topics
The comparative and cultural analysis of the selected texts leads to an optimal translation strategy. The ability to identify the type of specific text is improved.
Students should work also on the e-platform (application, papers and general information ecc.) - peer-to-peer method, bilingual tandem work, collaborative project work.
