Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Kontrastive Einführung in die Rechtssprachen: österreichisches Deutsch und Polnisch. Juristische Austriazismen. Übersetzungsübungen: Strafrecht und Zivilrecht - ausgewählte Texte. Vortrag, Diskussion, Gruppenarbeit, Hausarbeit individuell und in Kleingruppen - Präsentation in der Präsenz und Diskussion.
Erwerb translatorischer Basiskompetenz im Bereich von Rechtstexten unter besonderer Berücksichtigung textsortenspezifischer Anforderungen in beiden Rechtskulturen. Vorbereitung auf selbständiges Übersetzen von Rechtstexten.
Die LVA wird im Sommersemester im Bereich von allgemeinen Rechtstexten, Verwaltungs- und Arbeitsrecht fortgesetzt.

Assessment and permitted materials

Leistungsimmanent: aktive Mitarbeit in der LVA, Vorbereitung auf die jeweilige UE-Einheit, termingerechte Abgabe der Hausarbeit (einmal im Semester), eine schriftliche Teilleistungsserhebung in Semestermitte (ein Wörterbuch ist erlaubt - in gedruckter Form), eine schriftliche Semesterabschlussleistungserhebung (ein Wörterbuch ist erlaubt - in gedruckter Form).

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Selbständiges Übersetzen und Reflektieren über die Anforderungen der juristischen Textsorten.
Genaue Beurteilungskriterien werden auf der Moodle-Seite der LVA angegeben.
