Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Nach einer theoretischen Einführung in das Konsekutivdolmetschen und die Notizentechnik sowie die nonverbale Kommunikation werden zuerst mnemotechnische Mittel und Reaktionsfähigkeit geübt. Dann wird aufbauend konsekutiv gedolmetscht: simulierte Vorträge, Interviews, Pressekonferenzen, Schulungen etc. Es werden auch individuelle Ansprachen der Studierenden gedolmetscht.
Praktische Hinweise für die Dolmetscharbeit werden gegeben. Es wird in beide Richtungen gedolmetscht, da dies der Praxis entspricht. Je nach Zeitkapazitäten werden Einheiten des Flüsterdolmetschens und Vom-Blatt-Dolmetschens eigefügt.

Assessment and permitted materials

Prüfungsimmanente LV. Mitarbeit, Vorbereitung, Erstellung von Glossaren, Verfassen von Texten und ständige Präsenz sind Teile der Beurteilung
Nach den Dolmetschungen wird sofort Feedback gegeben.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Die Studierenden sollen anhand der eigenen Notizen fähig sein, kurze gesprochene Texte übereinstimmend mit der Sprach- und Kulturnorm der Zielsprache konsekutiv zu dolmetschen.
