Aims, contents and method of the course
We are planning 6 presentations by guest speakers. Topics and speakers will be announced via a central Moodle platform for all three languages. Interpretaton will be mainly simultaneous, into students' A- and B-languages aus well as from C to German, including relay interpreting, possibly also short consecutive assignments. Students will prepare wordlists or glossaries in the working languages of the course and complete them via the central platform.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Students should work on their own and in teams to acquire the skills needed to prepare thoroughly for the guest lectures from various fields and to use their interpreting skills as well as vocabulary and background knowledge in practice.
Examination topics
Technical research, parallel literature, analysis, terminology, preparation of word lists/glossaries, interpreting techniques

Aims, contents and method of the course
Rahmen der LV sind 6 Gastvorträge geplant. Die Themenkreise und ein ungefährer Zeitplan werden in der ersten Präsenz bekanntgegeben. Gedolmetscht wird simultan in die A- und B-Sprache sowie aus der C-Sprache, unter Umständen kann es kurze Konsekutivblöcke geben. Die Studierenden werden zur Vorbereitung Glossare erstellen und über die Plattform in den Arbeitssprachen vervollständigen.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Die Studierenden sollen selbständig individuell und in Teamarbeit die Kompetenz zur umfassenden Vorbereitung auf Einsätze in diversen Fachbereichen erwerben und diese dann beim Dolmetschen praktisch einsetzen.
