Aims, contents and method of the course
Improving the skill to interpret simultaneously by practicing and critically assessing one´s own performance.
Assessment and permitted materials
Active participation throughout the term.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
To improve the skill of interpreting simultaneously; getting used to the working conditions in the booth; improving vocabulary; improving research skills; gaining knowledge about various topical fields; teamwork in the booth; providing feedback to colleagues and assessing one´s own performance.
Examination topics
Working with texts (video or text speeches), both with and without preparation. Interpreting simultaneously in the booth, followed by discussion in the group. Continuous work on vocabulary and expressions in both languages.
