Aims, contents and method of the course
Simultaneous interpreting of recordings of speeches of medium difficulty from German into English. Preparation of speeches and terminology and provision of feedback.
Assessment and permitted materials
Ongoing evaluation of performance and an oral examination.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Developing techniques of simultaneous interpreting into English.
Examination topics
Development of simultaneous interpreting techniques from German into English through presentations by students, the lecturer and the use of original recordings.
